Coaching Advisory Panel

UK Coaching is establishing a Coaching Advisory Panel that will provide guidance for supporting coaches and the coaching system across the UK.

The main purpose of the panel is to shape UK Coaching's direction regarding coaching policy, coaching practice, learning and assessment and product development. With particular guidance sought to inform duty to care for coaches, how it can be promoted, delivered and adopted by coaches, and what coaching looks like in the future. 

Candidates should submit a short video, answering the following questions, to Head of Policy & Impact Heather Douglas at [email protected] by Friday, 15 January 2021. If you need any support with your application please contact Heather or Director of Coaching Emma Atkins at [email protected]. Consult our terms of reference for further information. 

  1. How will you ensure that UK Coaching’s strategic goals positively impact the coaching family across the UK in 2021-2022, and beyond?
  2. What innovative practices would you like to see embedded in the UK's coaching system in the future and why?
  3. What three super powers would you bring to the panel and what three aspects of a team culture would help you utilise these powers to their full potential (conversely, please outline one element of a team culture that doesn’t help your performance)?

The selection process will take place the week commencing Monday, 18 January 2021 with follow up communiqué provided by Wednesday, 27 January.
