Coaching Children: The Next Generation

On this workshop, reinvigorate your approach to coaching children to support their development and growth

This face-to-face workshop will support and empower you to reflect on how you coach children and consider strategies to further develop your coaching to provide the best possible experience for everyone you coach.

It has been informed by the latest research on topics that are essential to children's coaching, ensuring that you receive the up-to-date, expert knowledge that you need to create fun and engaging experiences that keep children coming back.

You will leave the session with fresh knowledge about coaching children, practical strategies to try straight away, and, crucially, the confidence that you need to continue growing and evolving your coaching practice.

You will explore:

  • motivation: why children turn up and what they want from coaching sessions
  • coaching environment: how you can create a safe space for children to explore and learn
  • play: the importance of play and how you can plan and deliver fun activities that children will love and keep coming back to take part in.

What Coaches Think

It was nice to get a fresher outlook on coaching children, as you start to get in the same mindset and way of working over a period of time. It provided me with the stimulation to implement different ideas. And it was very active and very hands-on, which I found to be a good thing, as I think if you sit a lot of coaches in a classroom environment for too long people will start to switch off.
