UKCoaching.org is managed by UK Coaching, the brand name of the National Coaching Foundation, a registered charity (number 327354) committed to driving forward the development of coaching in the UK.

UK Coaching will be referred to as ‘we’ from now on.

Using UKCoaching.org

You must use ukcoaching.org lawfully. You must not use it in a way that infringes upon the rights of, or the use and enjoyment of this site by anyone else. You are responsible for paying any internet connection charges while accessing and using ukcoaching.org. 

Passwords

You must keep your password confidential and not do anything that would assist anyone to gain access to any area which is reserved for you or registered users.

Viruses and Hacking

While we invest in security measures to protect our website and content from viruses, you must make sure that the way you use UKCoaching.org does not expose you to interference which can damage your hardware or software.

You are responsible for maintaining your own hardware and software. This includes taking your own precautions against viruses. We cannot not guarantee that UKCoaching.org content will be free from viruses and we’re not responsible for any loss or damage that might happen when you use UKCoaching.org.

You must not attack or attempt to gain unauthorised access to UKCoaching.org or any technology connected to it. You must not introduce any viruses or any other material that is harmful to our website.

You can view any content you have rightful access to on UKCoaching.org on-screen on your device, for your personal use only.

  • Rent, lease, sub-licence, loan, translate, merge, adapt, vary or modify the content or, create any derivative works without our express permission.

We don’t make any guarantees that the advice in any of the content is right for you. You must make your own assessment as to whether to act on any guidance. We will not be liable for any loss caused because of you doing (or not doing) something as a result of viewing, reading or listening to our content.

We update our site regularly and change it at any time without notice.

Requests to Remove Content

You can ask for content to be removed from UKCoaching.org. We will remove it if for example, it breaches copyright law, our privacy promise or could be considered defamatory. If you come across anything on our site which you think is abusive or inappropriate, please report it to us so we can put it right.

Contact us to report inappropriate content or request content to be removed. You’ll need to send us the web link of the content and explain why you think it should be removed. We’ll reply to let you know our decision.  

Safeguards for Children

UKCoaching.org is not aimed at children. However, content may indeed feature children as many coaches in the UK coach children. We only post content that features children in accordance with the NSPCC’s Child Protection in Sport Unit's Guidance.

Terms of Sale

You agree to these terms when you purchase a product or service on ukcoaching.org such as a Learn at Home course or a subscription.

Placing an Order

You may place an order for services on our website at any time.

We will send you an email to confirm the details of your order once your payment has been verified and your order has been processed.

Where appropriate you should be able to access the service/s by following the link/s displayed on the order confirmation page or by clicking on the links displayed in your personalised Dashboard.

Service Providers

UK Coaching services will be supplied by the The National Coaching Foundation (trading as UK Coaching) wholly owned subsidiary, Coachwise Limted, (company registration number 2340767, with registered address at Chelsea Close, Off Amberley Road, Armley, Leeds, LS12 4HP). 

You will be invoiced by Coachwise Limited for services you purchase on ukcoaching.org. 

As a UK Coaching subscriber, you will get access to discounts and offers from third parties that we believe are of interest to people involved in coaching. These offers from third parties are likely to change from to time to time. When deciding whether to make a purchase from any third-party provider, we advise you to read the respective terms and condition on their websites. 

We’re not responsible for these third-party websites or their services and do not accept any liability for them. You should make you own assessments of these websites before you use them.

Payment

Payment for the Services will be taken through our secure, third-party payment provider. We will make it clear to you who our payment provider is when you place your order. We will receive payment when our provider confirms that the transaction has been completed.

Prices

The price(s) of the services or products are displayed on our website at the time you place your order. Unless stated otherwise, all prices displayed are inclusive of VAT. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel any order for a product or service you have purchased within 14 days of placing an order - either by clicking on the cancel button that appears for 14 days next to your subscription order in your orders dashboard or by contacting us with your request. You will receive a refund within 14 days of your request providing you have not accessed the services or used the product.

We consider that a service has been accessed when you’ve started an online course or have downloaded any content that is part of a service you have paid for. 

If you are not happy with the service/s because for example you believe the service differs from what is stated on our website or because you can't access the service, please contact us so we can try to put things right. If you are still unhappy with the service, we will consider your refund request in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

If goods are faulty when they arrive or they have been dispatched in error, we will refund your postage. However, if you simply do not want the goods, you will pay the postage costs associated with returning them.

Your rights to cancel and your rights to receive a refund may differ if you used a promotional code or other offer. Further details will be set out with the relevant offer.

Deliveries

Your products are dispatched and delivered directly to your door as soon as possible.

All orders are usually delivered within 5 working days but can take up to 28 days in certain circumstances.

Changes to Services

We will contact you if we make a significant change to a product or service we are providing to you to let you know. 

We reserve the right to edit or remove content, learning and offers available as part of subscription at any time. 

Terminating Services

UK Coaching, on behalf of Coachwise Limited, reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to services at any time, with or without notice or explanation, if it believes you fail to comply with these terms.  

Renewals

You can renew your subscription at any time by clicking on the renew link on your dashboard or in any email renewal reminders. Upon clicking Renew, you will be presented with the option to enter your payment details to renew for another 12 months.  

Booking UK Coaching Events Online

  • If you are under the age of eighteen, you must obtain parental consent to register for and attend the Event.

    You (and your parent/guardian if under eighteen) are deemed to accept these terms and conditions upon registering for the Event and are responsible for ensuring the details submitted are accurate.
     
    If you attend the  Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshops you must be over the age of 16. 16 to 18-year olds must also be accompanied by an appropriate adult. The appropriate adult does not have to purchase a ticket and will not be certificated for their attendance.

    By registering and accepting these terms, you confirm that you are fit and well to participate in any physical activity that you choose to take part in during the Event.

    If your registered details change, you should notify the Organiser as soon as practicable via email to [email protected].

  • Ticket bookings will close 7 days prior to the Event or the date on which all tickets have been booked.

    You should bring your ticket with you to confirm your place at the Event.

  • If you are no longer able to attend, you should inform the Organiser at least 14 working days before the event so the place can be made available to others. Notification must be made in writing to [email protected] during the working week (Mon-Fri 09:00 to 17:00).

    If you cancel with fewer than 14 days left before the Event, you will be charged in full.

  • You agree to comply with the Organiser’s and Venue’s policies and procedures during the Event.

    You are responsible for advising the Organiser of any individual needs before the Event.

    The Organiser shall use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that appropriate First Aid assistance will be provided by the Venue for the duration of the Event.

  • The Organiser shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by you in attending the Event.

    Opinions expressed by speakers at the Event are their own and are not necessarily the views of the Organiser.

    Content of the Event and all Materials belong to the Organiser and/or the tutors responsible for its development and production. You will not obtain any rights in relation to content and Materials from attending the Event.

    All Materials, products or resources provided to Attendees at the Event will be limited to one per Attendee.

    The Organiser shall not be liable for any injury or loss occurring as a result of attending the Event (including, without limitation, any losses resulting from the Organiser’s negligence), provided that nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit the Organiser’s liability for death or personal injury resulting from the Organiser’s negligence or for any other type of liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

    The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission to any person it considers to be unsuitable for admission or to remove any such person after commencement of the Event.

  • The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Event; the Organiser shall not be liable for any losses incurred by you as a result of cancellation of the Event.

    If cancelled by the Event Organiser, a full refund of the ticket price will be made to the card used to confirm the booking. This refund will be processed within 14 working days of the event being cancelled.

    Force Majeure: the Organiser shall be entitled to cancel, postpone or change the Event if it is deemed necessary to do so as a result of a ‘Force Majeure’ event (an event beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser) and the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damages or expenses incurred by you as a result (including as a result of its negligence) except in respect of losses that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

Our Terms and Conditions are subject to change from time to time. 

By using UKCoaching.org, you agree to be bound by whichever version of the Terms and Conditions is published at such time.

Should we choose to change our Terms and Conditions, we will post the changes on this page. Where the changes are significant, we may email registered users with new details.

Governing Law

The Terms and Conditions as well as all issues regarding this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales and all disputes shall be determined exclusively by the English Courts.
