Coaching Bootroom: Danny Kerry (Part 1)

2015 UK Coaching High Performance Coach of the Year discusses his coaching journey, philosophy and influences

UK Coaching was formerly known as Sports Coach UK. We changed our name after expanding our support as an organisation. We’re now taking it wider than traditional sports because great coaching goes much, much further.

In part 1 of this 2 part Coaching Bootroom series Danny Kerry, 2015 UK Coaching High Performance Coach of the Year,  talks about how he got into coaching, his coaching philopsophy, what has influenced him and the advice he would give his younger self.

Learn more from Head Coach of England and Great Britain Women's Hockey team Danny Kerry in part 2 where he shares:

  • how he creates and maintains a squad culture
  • his key learning focus, and
  • how he develops coach/player relationships.
